(one negligible perf toning) to postcard to St Petersburg, latest date of usage recorded, “SERGIEVSKI POLIGON 11. 8. 11” SERGIEVSKI ARTILLERY POLIGON cds. as a receiving mark on postcard with travelling post office “RIGA 39 TAPS 10. 8. 11” addressed to the Artillery School (civilian temporary post office opened from 1st May to 15 September), also one card from Switzerland, etc., overall in fine condition

R.V.A.P. z 17 7 08” (STEAMSHIP OF EAST ASIATIC STEAMSHIP COMPANY) on 4 k., repeated alongside to postcard to Switzerland, Caspian sea mail with “BAKU-ENZELI PAROKH. 30 1 13” oval cds. on 10 k. on reverse of envelope to Ispahan with transit cds. “TEHERAN (DÉPART) 17. 11 13”, “(TEHERAN) 20.11.13”, very fine, also a similar cover from 1912, etc., together with Mi.-Nr. 26x (bloc of five) used with pen cross to a 1875 police report regarding a crime involving counterfeited coins in the hamlet of Dokurin, mostly fine
1880/1923 (ca.), Russian Fiscals and Zemstvo, group of unused/used including some multiples, noted Moscow chancellery, Simbirsk, Armavir, Voronezh and more, 1871 “Tabak” 3 roubles green imperforate unused (Standart-Nr. 5, ex Fabergé), small Zemstvo part with Ustssissolsk, Krememchug, Borigolevsk, etc, except for the occasional fault mostly in fine condition, an interesting assembly neatly housed in two booklets

1857/1980 (ca.), unused and used holding in 2 big boxes, with some better items/sets, some without gum or grease hinges, also some modern covers
1927, Solovki Prison Camp, appealing group of 10 postal cards printed locally at the camp, three of them unused, including seven different designs, some censored at the camp in blue crayon, franked and posted outside at the post office of Kem, slightly mixed condition as to be expected. A quite extraordinary group, some cards featuring sketches from the famous painter and inmate Osip Braz; this remote camp was set up on the Solovetsy Islands on the White Sea, it earned the nickname “Mother of Gulag” by Solzhjenitsyn
1850/1980, in the beginning mostly used and unused, from 1961-80 apparently complete mint never hinged collection, starting from Mi.-Nr. 1, incl. better early values with e.g. Mi.-Nr. 83 used (closed tear) signed Richter, in two hingeless albums
