1981/89, mint never hinged collection of the special souvenir sheets ex Mi.-Nr. 5056-5844, each limited to 12.500 or 15.000 pieces, incl. e.g. polar-bear set, very fine

1857, "1" watermark proof, complete sheet of 100, comprising 4 panes of 25, showing the position layout and watermarked inscriptions "POCHTOVAYA MARKA IN 10 KOPECK 1857". Folded between the groups and small marginal faults. A unique  and most important item of Russian philately. Certificate Citerne BPP (2026)

10 kopeck brown & blue in combination with 1865, 1 kopeck and 1866/75, 3 kopeck with error 'background  of 5 kopeck', tied by oval "S.P.B" to small piece. The 10 kopeck somewhat damaged at lower left and upper right corner (Probably adhering to previous substrate), otherwise very fine. The No. 1 was valid until 1881; this is the latest recorded usage of this stamp and a unique combination with the 5th and 6th issue. A great rarity. Certificate Mikulski (1999)

FRAUENBURG (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, clear at base, otherwise good to large margins, used with pen cross on lettersheet, with reverse side boxed dispatch Mark "FRAUENBURG" with manuscript date "27 August 58", to Riga. Some minor staining in the envelope only. A fine and rare No.1 entire; just one further recorded from this tiny village.  2 certificate Buchsbayew (2018)

KARGOPOL: 10 kopeck brown & blue, clear at upper right, otherwise large margins, tied by pre-philatelic straight-line "KARGOPOL" with manuscript date "26 April", to lettersheet (side flaps partly reduced) to Onega. Very fine and extremely rare; one of just 2 No.1 entires recorded from this small village and one of very few No.1-covers with a combination of cancellation and manuscript date.  Certificate Buchsbayew (2021)

1911/14, Russian Temporary Postmarks, small group of 5 cards, some better items with “DVINSK POLIGON VITEB. 4 VII 1911” (DVINSK ARTILLERY POLIGON) temporary cds. tying a 4 k. (one negligible perf toning) to postcard to St Petersburg, latest date of usage recorded, “SERGIEVSKI POLIGON 11. 8. 11” SERGIEVSKI ARTILLERY POLIGON cds. as a receiving mark on postcard with travelling post office “RIGA 39 TAPS 10. 8. 11” addressed to the Artillery School (civilian temporary post office opened from 1st May to 15 September), also one card from Switzerland, etc., overall in fine condition

UMAN (UKRAINE): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good to large margins, tied by boxed "UMAN 3 JUNE 1858" (with "3" and "58" added in manuscript) to letter written entirely in yiddish (outer flaps partly missing), to Zhitomir. The stamp with tiny surface scratch in the lower frame line, otherwise very fine and fresh. A very rare No.1-usage; just one further entire has been recorded from this small place. KAZANSKAYA: 10 kopeck brown & blue, clear to good margins, used with almost complete strike of small red double line handstamp. Small imperfections. A rare and attractive usage from a tiny village. Signed Stolow and Mikulski with certificate (2007)

KAMENETS PODOLSK: 10 kopeck brown & blue, ample to large margins, showing part of neighbouring stamp at base, used with central and clear strike of boxed pre-philatelic handstamp to cover front (fold in the lower part broken and fixed). A rarity; the only recorded entire of this small city. Certificate Buchsbayew (2014)

ILLUXT (Latvia): 10 kopeck brown & blue, good even margins, used with central and clear strike of small straight line "ILLUXT" with adjacent double line date stamp, to lettersheet to Mühlenhof near Riga, with arrival mark. Cover folds not affecting the stamp. A rare and attractive entire. The only recorded with this pre-philatelic postmark and one of just 2 covers recorded from this small village. BALASHOV: 10 kopeck brown & blue, good even margins, neatly tied by pre-philatelic straight-line "BALASHOV" to entire letter, dated inside April 12, 1858, to Moscow. The stamp has been lifted for inspection and replaced, very fine condition. The only recorded No.1-entire from this small village. Certificate Buchsbayew (2016).

1875/1913, group of 8 covers and cards, some interesting usages including ship mail with “PARAKHODA. OBSCH. R.V.A.P. z 17 7 08” (STEAMSHIP OF EAST ASIATIC STEAMSHIP COMPANY) on 4 k., repeated alongside to postcard to Switzerland, Caspian sea mail with “BAKU-ENZELI PAROKH. 30 1 13” oval cds. on 10 k. on reverse of envelope to Ispahan with transit cds. “TEHERAN (DÉPART) 17. 11 13”, “(TEHERAN) 20.11.13”, very fine, also a similar cover from 1912, etc., together with Mi.-Nr. 26x (bloc of five) used with pen cross to a 1875 police report regarding a crime involving counterfeited coins in the hamlet of Dokurin, mostly fine

TELSHI (Lithuania): 10 kopeck brown & blue, slightly touched at upper right, otherwise good to large margins, tied by dotted rectangular "183" to envelope with matching dispatch c.d.s. on reverse, to Wilno (Vilnius). Tiny parts of ink removed in the lower left margin of the stamp, otherwise fine. Very rare; just 2 other No.1-entires have been recorded from Telshi. Certificate Buchsbayew (2014)
